Adopt A Road
The Rotary Club of Whitby "took to the streets" on November 7, 2020 for the latest edition of our Consumers Drive "Adopt-A-Road Clean-Up". Sponsored by the Club's Environmental Action Committee, fourteen Rotary Club of Whitby members and friends gathered with garbage bags and gloves, to "get to work" and have a lot of fun. ...
It was a beautiful autumn day and many donned their Rotary attire as we made our way up and down Consumers Drive picking up every last piece of refuse. It was wonderful to hear a few car horn honks, in appreciation for our making Whitby just a little more tidy and beautiful.
